Runner-up finish in Small Car Nationals at Roaring Knob

Drake Troutman visited Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex (Markleysburg, Pa.) on Friday afternoon to pilot his Smith Transport No. 7 Modified for the two-day Small Car Nationals. After topping the charts in time trials, Troutman streaked to a heat race victory, which positioned him on the pole for Saturday’s $2,000-to-win A-Main.

Losing one spot in the 40-lap affair, Drake scored a runner-up finish, which came behind Mitch Thomas.
