Runner-up finish in Modified at Bedford

Drake Troutman was in action on Friday night at Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) pulling double duty for the Labor Day 55. In a field of 32 Zimmer’s United Late Model Southern Series entries, Troutman experienced issues in his heat that sidelined him from the feature.

In his Modified, he notched a runner-up finish in the feature, which came behind Mike Altobelli Jr with Daniel Cornman, Jacob Marker, and Amber Mills rounding out the Top-5.

On Saturday night at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.), Drake suffered a flat right-rear tire in the feature that saw him retire on the eighth circuit.
