Drake Troutman returns with DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Oakshade

Saturday saw Drake Troutman return with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Oakshade Raceway (Wauseon, Ohio) for the annual Birthday Race. (Jim DenHamer photo)

With a stout field of 57 Late Models crammed into the pit area, Troutman missed a transfer spot by one position in his heat with a fourth-place finish, relegating him into the B-Main. Needing to place second or better to make the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Drake retired on the third circuit.
