Drake Troutman fourth with XR Super Series; runner-up outing in Ted Siri Memorial

Once again behind the wheel of the Big Frog Motorsports / Viper Motorsports No. 58v over the weekend, Drake Troutman stopped into Outlaw Speedway (Dundee, N.Y.) on Friday afternoon for the ULMS-sanctioned Ted Siri Memorial.

After winning his heat race and redrawing the third-starting position, Troutman endured a hard-fought battle for the lead but ultimately settled for a second-place finish behind Dave Hess Jr. while Mike Knight completed the podium.

Joining the XR Super Series on Saturday afternoon at Muskingum County Speedway (Dresden, Ohio), Troutman started ninth in the $15,000-to-win event and made up five positions to finish fourth.
